Suresh,

Yes - this should work without issue. I had done this in one of our test environments in the early days of OTM v5.5 without too many issues. The side benefit of exporting and importing is that it will compress your datafiles, removing fragmentation and free space within the data blocks.

You may not, however, be able to run OTM v5.0 against the 10.2.0.3 database -- instead you'd run the v5.0 to v5.5 migration scripts at this point and then run OTM v5.5 against the new database.
