You will need to ask yourself the following question, are you modeling 1 equipment = 1 truck? If, so you need to be aware that:
1) OTM implicitly assumes that for FTL modelling, it is 1 shipment = 1 equipment. In other words, 1 shipment - 1 truck
2) If you want to have 1 shipment - multiple trucks, you will have difficulty when doing partial tendering
After having been aware of this, there are several things to look out for:
1) Make sure your leg configuration in your itinerary is:
a. Create Single Shipment (checked)
b. Auto Consolidation Type = Console into 1 Ship Multiple Equipment
c. Equipment Assignment Type = Optimise Equipment
d. Equipment Group Profile ID = <your equipment group profile>
2) Make sure your Order Release has the following checked:
a. Order Release Header - Splittable (checked)
b. Order Release Ship Unit - Bulk Splittable (checked)
c. Order Release Ship Unit - Count Splittable (checked)
The above configuration is for 1 shipment - multiple equipment. To change it to 1 shipment - 1 equipment, just
1) Uncheck Create Single Shipment on your itinerary leg
2) Set the Auto Consolidation Type = Console Into 1 Equipment
