Title : Overview of Documentation Resources (including Help, TOIs and UPK)
Speaker: Julie Poindexter and Tim Esposito - Sr Curriculum Developer, Oracle
An overview of OTM's Online Help & Supporting Documentation with a special emphasis on Oracle's User Productivity Kit (UPK) used to create Show Me simulations.
It would include a brief overview of Help and Custom Help. It would cover Show Me simulations and How To procedures with special emphasis on UPK Show Me simulations. The track would include a PowerPoint presentation plus demonstrations. Topics for this track include:
  • Finding OTM documentation and curriculum resources via MetaLink notes
  • Accessing TOIs
  • Accessing new features of online help
  • Using Custom Help
  • What are How To procedures
  • What are the OTM UPK Show Me simulations
  • Review what topics are covered by the OTM Show Me simulations
  • What if you purchase Oracle UPK and want to create your own training based on the OTM UPK source files
