Title: Dock Manager Lessons Learned from US Steel
Speaker: Tom Leonard - OTM Application Specialist, Oracle
The Dock Manager in OTM is a new tool that has only been implemented by a couple of clients, and it is still maturing. This presentation covers some special configurations used at US Steel to make the Dock Manager a successful implementation in 5.5 CU 3 and a look forward to the new features in the latest release. Planned topics include the following:
  • US Steel Overall Process / Op Review
  • Plan-From Locations used to allow variable numbers of slots per hour per dock
  • Nightly process moves unscheduled forward to next day
