I actually went through this process already, and if you are following step 1a in the Metalink note, you shouldn't have to do step 2 (per Gavin Lindsay at Oracle). It is pretty redundant if you do, but the techs required it. I think they may have written their procedures up wrong. Anyway Gavin said he would fix the Metalink note. |
