Hello!
I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that we'll soon be moving the forums to its new home. No, we're not changing domain names again
- we're moving to a new site and server!
As our user community has grown and become more active, I've noticed that screens are taking longer than I'd like to refresh and searches aren't as snappy as I'd like them. (Trust me - this is a great problem to have!) Now that MavenWire has a new datacenter, we're moving this site onto it's own dedicated (and fast!) server.
The move is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of 6/23/2007 and I anticipate the site being down for the bulk of the weekend. This gives time for the site move, DNS replication, etc.
I'm not expecting any issues and if all goes well, no one should notice anything different, other than the weekend outage and a faster site!
