Hi Kishore,

About your questions:

1. I suppose you are referring to the Data Query Type ID on the Agent Event. This field refers to the type of Automation Agent that is going to use this event as a trigger.
For example, you may have an Order Release agent that will raise a customized Agen Event and that Agent Event will trigger a Shipment Agent. In this case the Data Query Type ID for the Agent Event should be Shipment

2. The best way that I have found to know if your configuration of Agents is working is through the logs. Right after you perform a function that should trigger the event that creates the custom event you can check the Logs (The path in 4.5 is System Administration / Process Manager / Logs / System), in the log you can select the ID of Agents. This will only display the activity that relates to Agents.

It might be a good idea if you provide more details about what you are trying to achieve...
