This is our first time setting up air schedule and rates, can someone explain how are the air schedules linked to the air rates? I can't seem to find the relationship between the tables. Thanks!
You dont have to create an explicit link between the rate offerings / rate records and the flight schedules. As long as the service provider on the rates / flight schedules match you should be fine.
Bear in mind that there is functionality to configure the base rate with a rate offering type of AIR-TACT-BASE which is used as the display rates and that a master rate with a rate offering type of AIR-TACT-MASTER can be used as the actual rate to rate the shipments. This is a very typical air freight scenario / requirement.
The only "link" between rates and flight schedules is really the service provider...OTM figures the rest out for you.
