5.5.03.06 - Change Service Provider after Shipment Events entered

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to configure OTM to allow the change of service provider on a shipment after events have been captured against it?

As far as I know, Shipment Events can only be entered when the status of
REVIEWED = REVIEWED_EXECUTE and SECURE RESOURCES = SECURE RESOURCES_ACCEPTED.

However setting these two statuses will prevent OTM from allowing you to change the service provider.

Is there a configuration or workaround to allow this?

Thanks!
Ian

Re: 5.5.03.06 - Change Service Provider after Shipment Events entered

Hi,

I think I found a solution. There is a parameter called glog.shipment.event.checkstatus and when set to false, will allow shipment events to be entered without REVIEWED_EXECUTE and SECURE RESOURCES_ACCEPTED.

Hence I can create a shipment, don't tender it, allow it to accept events and change service provider all at the same time.

Hope this helps!
Ian
