What's the difference between spot bidding and broadcast tendering? I can't tell the difference from reading the help file. Both seem to refer to the same process of sending a shipment to multiple service providers and have them bid on it.

Hi Sathish,

Spot bid tender - Here we can invite many carriers and OTM will wait for all carriers to respond with their rates till the end of response time. If the response time is over, OTM will automatically award the shipment to the least cost carrier and with draw tender from all other carriers.

Broad cast tender - Here OTM will award the shipment to the carrier who responds first (not the least cost) and it will with draw the tender offer from all other carriers.
