how to run export from optimized saved query?

hi,
someone knows how is possible to run an export from a buy shipment page that shows the result of a query written directly into SQL command.

when i try to run the export i have this error popup:
"UNABLE_TO_RUN_ACTION_ON_OPTIMIZED_SAVED_QUERY "

there is a solution?

thanks a lot
Filippo

Re: how to run export from optimized saved query?

Hi Filippo

This functionality is working well. Select the query in Saved query tab. Execute it. It will list number of shipments. Then click export. It will be exported in excel format...

i know, but if the query into the saved list has been made directly into SQL language, OTM report "you cannot export optimized queries"

Re: how to run export from optimized saved query?

According to Metalink Note 747092.1 - Can Not Export Results of Query When Saved Query is USE IN FINDER=NO
Quote:
Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
A Saved Query is defined with the option "Use In Finder" unchecked. When the results of query are displayed and then attempted to be exported (clicking on the Export button), the following error is displayed:
UNABLE_TO_RUN_ACTION_ON_OPTIMIZED_SAVED_QUERY
Note: This is applicable to both Finder Screen results and Business Monitor results.
-- Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a saved query that is defined as "Use In Finder" set as unchecked.
2a. Open the Business Monitor and click on the results to display the objects
or
2b. Use the above Saved Query to search in any Finder Screen
3. Click on the Export Button

Cause
This is As-Designed behavior. Saved Queries marked as Use In Finder = NO, can not be Exported in this way.

Solution
-- To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
This is As-Designed behavior. Saved Queries marked as Use In Finder = NO, can not be Exported in this way.
