Itinerary BNG

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to create the itinerary id using Business Number Generator? Can I use BNG for any element?
I want to create the id with the combination of origin location, destination location and sequential number.
For example Itinerary1 from Dallas to Phoenix the id I would like is Da-Pho_0001. Other example is Itinerary2 from Dallas to Phoenix the id I would like is Da-Pho_0002.

Thanks.

Re: Itinerary BNG

I do not believe that this is possible.

By default in the UI, you don't have to define an itinerary ID when creating a new itinerary. However, when you save that itinerary, I think OTM will just assign it a sequence number which is not based on a BNG configuration.

Normally, itineraries are "static" OTM data and therefore you name them as you create them during the setup / implementation process and there is no need to automate the naming convention of them.

Re: Itinerary BNG

Hi,

To me it seems impossible.
The BN Type ID for Itinerary is not available, so that will limit you already.

Physically, the BNG will only be available for "operational" data. As this is static configuration data, I don't expect it to be available for BNG.
