Is there a way to control when a Modify Tender communication gets sent out?

I know that I can use threshholds on the ORDER RELEASE - MOD - EDIT SHIPMENT agent action, but I don't think that is the solution. I want updates to flow through from the order release onto the shipment. For minor changes on an order, that the carrier does not care about (such as minor changes in a ship unit weight, a TL carrier won't care as long as it does not exceed the weight limit), how can I get those changes on a tendered shipment, without the Modify Tender communication getting sent out?

There are situations where I want the communication to get sent out, so I don't want to just turn off the modify tender communication.

hey dmoore, i had the same issue as you and the only way to get around this for me (otm v5.0) was to turn off the notifications in the "ORDER BASE - MOD - EDIT SHIPMENT" action (i use this on order bases but it should be the same on order releases). if you click on the "i" button next to the action for ORDER RELEASE - MOD - EDIT SHIPMENT, it will popup with a checkbox for "Modify Tender". just uncheck that box and modification tenders will no longer be sent out. hope this is what you were looking for.

Hi tangfj - Unfortunately, on the ORDER RELEASE - MOD - EDIT SHIPMENT, there is only the Recalculate Service Time check box, not the Modify Tender check box. I checked the ORDER BASE - MOD - EDIT SHIPMENT and did see what you are talking about, it's just not on the order release edit shipment. I'm on v5.5 CU02.
