How to send SMS from OTM to mobiles?

Moshe,

OTM doesn't have direct SMS capabilities, so you'd have to utilize an email to SMS gateway, or simply email directly to the SMS device. For instance, you can send an SMS to most cell phones using an email address like 5555551212@verizonwireless.net.

In that case I already have an Email address filled in the Contact screen.I want to notify an email as well as an SMS.So where do I store the SMS address ex:" 5555551212@verizonwireless.net." in the contact screen.

I ve to store the below details in Contact Screen:
Email:abc@yahoo.com
SMS:5555551212@verizonwireless.net.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of how to store both in that fashion. I believe you can setup multiple email addresses per contact. If so, then that's the way to accomplish this.

Also, FYI - I moved your thread out of the Database Administration section and into the Execution section, where I believe it better fits.

Hi there, see the post on the use of contact groups that I have just added here:

This approach of using contact groups may solve the same issue that you are facing.

Please repost to let everyone know what you find out.
