If your air schedule dates and OR dates matches, then when you bulkplan your orders, it will automatically assign your orders to the already created consol shipment.

in some versions (i think CU3 and CU4) there is a bug that the consol start time needs to be within 1 day of the Order-Pickup (for air); for voyage schedules it works into the future....

Currently I am trying CONSOL with Air schedule.
I agree with you , shipments bulk planned are not linked / updated with the consol created with same flight id...
1) Is there any setup needs to be done apart from creating a consol for airline schedule for the specfic departure date.
2) How does the consol gets updated automatically after the shipment is created.
3) I found there is check box in itenarary"Use Consol", do we have select the check box.
Oliver,
From your reply , I am not able understand, what do you mean by consol start time. Can you please highlight.
Please advice. Thanks in advance. |

Make sure you have checked the check box in itenarary "Use Consol". It should be checked in order to assign your OR's to the shipment.
Let me know if you are able to acheive the results, else send me screenshots of your setup, so that i can hav a look on that.

To answer your question, yes the check box in itenarary "Use Consol" has to be checked in order to assign your OR's to the shipment.
I believe you had already created your shipment from the consol --->Actions ----> Create Shipment.
Then bulkplan your OR's so that it will assign the orders to created shipment.

thanks arun for your advice.....I tried, but it is not working.
1) If I check the Use Consol check box in itinerary, I am not able to build shipments it is
throwing some error. I don't know what is mistake I made in config.
2) You mean after consol --->Actions ----> Create Shipment.... whether shipment volume and weight will be updated automatically to consol ?
Please advice.
Thanks in advance |

If i check Use Consol in itinerary, then routes and rates are not querying. Also Shipment is not getting built and error says No itinerary found for shipment order bundling (batch-2). Can you send me the steps in detail to resolve this issue..
Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance | Hi,
Iam sure you are missing out something in your configuration.
But what basically happen is, you define your departure date in the consol and from the consol you will create a shipment. The shipment is something like SAW, which will hav zero and volume.
Once you bulkplan your OR the order will get linked to the shipment and weight and volume will be updated to the shipment.
