Carrier Commitment Count or Allocation

Hi All

Has anyone worked on "Carrier Commitment Count / Allocation". I enabled the planning parameter " PLAN SHIPMENTS WITH CARRIER COMMITMENT" to true and tried on TL shipments, but still the allocation is not happening.

Re: Carrier Commitment Count or Allocation

Hi,

We have got a lot of problems with the commitment allocation. We have opened a service request with oracle but what they have said till now is that the commitment allocation is not working in two situations:
1-Itineraries that has the option re-use carrier.
2-If you have split orders.

I hope this help.

Re: Carrier Commitment Count or Allocation

Does anyone know how to set up the Commitment Allocation? I am having problems with OTM not showing the Planned Count and Planned Percentage.
PLAN SHIPMENTS WITH CARRIER COMMITMENT planning parameter is set to True.
I set up a commitment allocation for a lane (zip5 to zip5) per the online help instructions

Re: Carrier Commitment Count or Allocation

Hi,

Appropriate public agent needs to be activated for the planned count and planned percentage to show properly. The public agents are

a) INVOICE - POST APPROVAL
b) UPDATE CAPACITY ALLOCATION

Re: Carrier Commitment Count or Allocation

Thanks,

I knew I would need the agent for the Finalized count and percentage. I found an issue when looking at my log files. there was a very large set of X_lane records to evaluate when OTM tried to record the plan counts. Once I removed the (old rate records) x_lanes, the planned count worked.

Brian.
