How to clear dates and transport mode via XML integration

We have some situations where Order release's get changed from a pickup to a dilivery. I need to be able to clear out EarlyPickupDate and LatePickupDate as well as TransportModeGid/Gid/Xid to facilitate this.

I have tried pushing through a release using different transaction codes (IU, RC etc) but cannot get those fields to clear even though they are not in the xml I am sending.

Is there somthing I can pass in the xml that will cause those fields to null out?

Hi

For Dates you can send in a tilde (~) but beware, the transmission will error if there is no date to remove.

I've never tried it with Transport Mode - I suspect that it won't work - but its worth testing.

Re: How to clear dates and transport mode via XML integration

Gary,

Thanks for the info - "~" works perfect for the dates, and with the version of OTM I am running (5.5) it even works fine to push ~ all the time for all 4 dates when I don't have ERP data for them.

"~", as you suspected, does not work for Transportmode and it causes a FK error.

Anyone else ever have to change transport mode?

Can you use an agent to null it out after it has hit the database?
