OTM 5.5 - Unable to view Buy Shipments from Order Movements screen via smartlinks

Hi everyone,

I would like to check if anyone has problems viewing Buy Shipments from the Order Movement finder result screen via smartlinks.

When I click on the View Related Buy Shipments smartlink, I see a blank page.

Ian - assuming you have buy shipments related to those order movements, that should work just fine. If you are sure that shipments do actually exist and if you have access to the Oracle Metalink system I would log a SR for that issue.

If you wanted to debug this further before creating an SR, turn on the SQL log and then run the "View Related Buy Shipments" from the Smartlink and see what SQL commands are being issued and then check that those SQL statements should return shipments to the screen.

You may also need to turn on the UIC component of the log to get SQL output for UI related actions. Hope that helps.

I am certain the shipment was generated. I have already submitted an SR as well. Just wondering if you have encountered this before.

Thanks for the UIC tip! Looks like they revamped the Log file interface in 5.5. - for the better.. I will check out the SQL generated there!
