I am facing a typical issue. Whenever i run a Rate Equiry for two locations after i check the Quote check box in the Rate Record for these two locations the Rate Equiry says

"Warning
No Rate Offering Matched
Sorry, we have found no rate offering that matches your inquiry"

On the other hand if i uncheck the Quote check box in the Rate Record and then re-run the Rate Enquiry for these two locations then it is giving a perfect result.

I am working on OTM 5.5 CU4. Kindly suggest a way out for this situation.

We have also experienced the same and I suspect it as a bug as the purpose of Quote Checkbox in Rate record is for using the Rate Record in Quoting and not to do anything with Rate Enquiry.

I suggest you to check with Metalink team on the same.

As per OTM log, RIQ engine is skipping rates marked as Quote because of some setting which states
"rate finder from quote manager = false"

It don't seems to be a planning parameter.

Do someone know where to set it to true? - Is it some property file?

This might not be a bug.

The Quote check box in Rate Record gives us a provisions to Hold Rate records which are in quoted stage from being used in shipment planning.

After the quoted rates are accepted by the customer or internal heads, we can uncheck the quote check box in rate record, and make the rate record available for shipment planning.

Whenever a rate record is created at quote - add cost options tab, the newly created rate record will have the quote check box auto enabled, this will prevent the rate record from RIQ as well as planning purposes.
