Allocatioon of BUY shipment based on Ship Unit Count

Dear All,

I got a scenario wherein I need to allocate the cost of planned BUY Shipments based on the SHIP UNIT COUNT.

When I select PIECE COUNT as the Metric and ORDER as Basis, OTM considers the line-item packaging count for allocation.

Is there anyway by which I can allocate Planned BUY Shipment based on Ship unit count.

Kindly offer your sugesstions / experiences.

Cheers

San

Hi Sanju,

I don't think that there is an option for the ship unit count that you need but an alternate approach that you may want to consider is using the dimensional weight option.

I haven't used that myself but in theory seems like a good approach if all your ship units have the same dimensions as well as the same dimensional rate factor.

Hope this helps,

Alejandro B.
