Bulk Plan selects 0 orders

Hi :

We have experienced this strange OTM behaviour recently quite a few times. (We are using CU2 RU05)

Our Bulk Plan query runs every night and usually plans 300-400 orders. But sometimes it selects only 0 orders(we ran the query separately and it runs the expected records).

Does anyone have a clue of where to look at and what's happening ?

Thanks
Jay

Re: Bulk Plan selects 0 orders

You could probably simulate the time when the query ran, within the saved query (used for order selection) to check if there are any candidate orders in the system at that specific time. If you have already done this and still find an issue, you may want to raise this with Oracle support as this behviour appears to be weird.

Re: Bulk Plan selects 0 orders

Jay:

I have seen this happen before...

See this excerpt from an email from my past -

"OK, I know this seems hard to believe, but the following query when selected using the UI runs and gets results only when executed a second time and when scheduled to run through the bulk plan scheduler it never selects data.
WML_9560_500_SHORT_WY_NE_CO_ONLY
Changed the name of the query to
WML_9560_500_SHORT_REST
and it works just fine. So, I guess you have to limit the number of "_" you put in a query."

You may want to try to limit the number of characters in the name of your query...
