Consolidation / Deconsolidation and Cross Docking Scenarios !

Hi, Can anyone of you please share the Consolidation Pools/ Deconsolidation Pools and Cross docking scenarios with the setup requirements ?

I followed the setups (for the Deconsolidation pools) given in the OTM help. But still when i try to build the shipment, it always builds a direct shipment.

Detailed steps for the above mentioned features will be of great use !

Please do the needful.

Thanks !

Hi Ragsridh,

There are a lot of reasons that can explain why you are not being able to plan a deconsolidation shipment and not all of them can be linked to the configuration (as it could be the time window or not being the most cost effective option... to name a few).

I think it would be better to trouble shoot instead of reviewing piece by piece your configuration. I would suggest you to mark the "Must Ship Through Pool" box in the constraints tab of that Order Release, plan it again and review the logs.

Hope this helps,

Alejandro B.

Make sure you have an itinerary that can handle either deconsolidation pooling or consolidation pooling. Also make sure that your Pool location has a region on it to tell OTM what region that Pool serves.

Hi Alejandro,

Is it must to use "Must Ship Through Pool" constraint in Order release .

If we need both Console and deconsole Pool do we need to check both Consolidation pool ,deconsolidation pool and Is match to Dest and Is match is Src check box in the Itinerary .

Kishore

Make sure that the weight of the orders selected will fit into the equipment mention in the itinerary .
If not increase the capacity of the equipment .
