Dock Scheduling - glog properties

Hello all!

Regarding dock scheduling, was wondering if anyone knew how to set glog properties in order to allow a service provider to set appointments only 3 days out from current day. Also is there a way to prevent the service provider from changing appointments if the current day/time is 9 hours or less with respect to the estimated arrival time.

Thanks!

Check out:

glog.appointment.servprovRule.cutOffHour=
glog.appointment.servprovRule.numberOfDaysBeforeCu tOffHour=
glog.appointment.servprovRule.numberOfDaysAfterCut OffHour=
The functionality is enabled by setting glog.appointment.enforceServprovRule=true

Re: Dock Scheduling - glog properties

Thanks! Very helpful!

I had another question. Our business wanted to eliminate a service provider to have the ability to change/remove the appointment 9 hours before the appointment time. Do you have any ideas on how to approach that? I thought OTM could not do this since the glog properties are across the board and not relative to each appointment. Any ideas?

Re: Dock Scheduling - glog properties

Hi

The servprov rules can be used to stop the servprov from moving an appointment after a certain time of a certain day - as you require - but it will not stop the removing of the appointment.

I would suggest that you use an Action to drive a Manual Agent, that will check the date/time before invoking the removal of the appointment.

Regards
Gary
