Hi ,

I have senarioi where i need only shipment that need to be build with multiple equimnets untis .

Scenario:

Equipment Group profile has one equipment attachedto it and the equipment capacity is 25 tons .

Now i have order release with 50 tons when i tried to plan the shipments its not building coz its morethen the equipment capacity.

When i check the splitable option in the order release its planiing Two shipments.

All i need is One shipment need to be created with two equipments in it .

Please advice .

Hi Kishore,

The things to do:

- In the itinerary set: "Auto Consolidation Type" to "Consolidate into One Shipment / Multiple equipment" and check "Create Single Shipment".

This will do the trick.

Is there any way to assign Equipment Number to the shipment .

Hi Kishore,

Do you mean the Equipment ID or the number of equipments?

I forgot 1 thing:
If you want to rate the shipment to the number of equipments used you have to set the rate base as "Equipment". The Unit will be automatically "1" (per number of equipment)

If you then create a shipment which uses 2 pieces of equipment you will get a cost amount of twice the equipment cost. You also get to equipment records in the second tab. To each equipment record you can add a seperate number or ID.

Should i change any thing in the Planning parameter.

Hi Kishore,

As far as I know there is no parameter I set for this.
In the itinerary is the "Primary Leg" checkbox on? I can remeber that this was ian issue.

Please let me know whether that did the trick.

Hi,

I just dived into my config and list here the things that are set which I didn't mention before:

- Itinerary detail: Equipment assignment type: "Optimise Equipment".

I also checked my planning parameters, but they are all default except for a few that don't have to do with this.

If it still doesn't work, you should look to something else which is not OK. Dates, etc.
