How to use agent to do a Direct Planning Actions?

Hi All,

I couldn't seem to find an Action in Agent to do "Direct Planning", any advise?

Or is there any planning parameters which I can adjust so that if this planning parameter set is selected, OTM will only do direct planning and will skip multistop even though my itinerary is multi-stop.

Thanks!

Hi Yeowleng,

There are many ways to achieve that. One of them is to mark "must ship direct" in Order release constraints tab - Then OTM planning engine will always create direct shipments for a given Order release ( even by bulk plan action).

Hi thanks for your reply!

I may not be clear in my question. I want to skip multi-stop totally, and just want to do a direct plan equivalent to the Actions in Order Release > Create Buy Shipment > Direct. "Must Ship Direct" in order release considers multi-stop as well.

Any suggestions?

Hi yeowleng,

Try changing "MULTISTOP CONFIG ID" parameter with new Logic configuration as

MULTISTOP MAX TIME BETWEEN DELIVERIES - 0 Minutes
MULTISTOP MAX TIME BETWEEN PICKUPS - 0 Minutes
MULTISTOP OUT OF ROUTE DISTANCE PCT TOLERANCE - 0 %
MULTISTOP OUT OF ROUTE DISTANCE TOLERANCE - 0 Miles

Hi i thought of the above, but does the above prevent multi-stop logic from being used if I have 1 OR that will split into e.g 2 shipments?

Yes, above configuration will prevent multistop logic to be used.

I didn't understand your second query i.e. " if I have 1 OR that will split into e.g 2 shipments". Anyways no multistop shipment can be created from single OR. There should be at least 2 OR for creating multistop shipment.

Please explain your query in detail
