Inventory Management in OTM
Hi All,

Has anyone worked on Inventory Management in OTM? If any one has explored this module please throw some light on the functionality of inventory management in OTM. In which version of OTM is the inventory management functionality incorporated? Any pointers on the same would be very helpful.

Re: Inventory Management in OTM
The module is called Logistics Inventory Visibility (Oracle Transportation Management: Logistics Inventory Visibility)

In short, the module provides Static Inventory Visibility, including
  1. SKU definition for products
  2. API for receipt of warehouse transactions
  3. Visibility to SKU transactions
  4. Event management for SKUs
  5. Orders and Shipments in-transit visibility
In one of my implementation (5.5 CU3/CU4), the customer eventually dropped the module because some of functions did not work properly.
  • 6319710 - INDIVIDUAL COUNTS DOES NOT SHOW ANY NUMBERS
  • 6349234 - TOTAL COUNTS GOES TO REPORT ERROR
  • 6319691 - CAN NOT FIND SKU_QUANTITY FINDER SET FROM SKU VIEW SCREEN
  • 6606732 - NOT ABLE TO CREATE A SKU EVENT
Not sure there is any improvement since then.
