I have tried creating the multistop sell shipment for single pickup and two drop off's, it creates two independent direct shipments rather than a single multistop sell shipment.
Iam using the same RO/RR with a base cost and stop off charges which i used for my Buy Shipments.
Any thoughts on this....?

There should not be a problem in creating multi stop sell shipment, since you are using the same RO / RR for planning.
Instead of bulk planning the orders, try this action - Create sell shipments >> Multistop.
Ensure that the planning parameter that you used fof multistop buy shipment is set as default planning parameter for the domain.
Hope this might help you.

i believe you are using lat / long for calculating distance.
are you still using Volume breaks as rate basis? Jus try once with shipment total distance as rate basis and try, siince multistop calculates route distance while planning.

Iam tryin with shipment total distance only, even then it is failing to build shipments. But im using lat/long and estimate. I think this wnt be a issue becoz it uses the same for Buy shipment creation and it works perfectly.

Rep Power: 3 | | | Re: Multi-stops Sell Shipment Hi guys,
I am able to make both buy/sell multistop shipments using default planning parameter.
But, there was one interesting observation. - I was using both itinerary & rate offering type as "All" - for the test case to facilitate both buy/sell shipments easily.
- But, when I changed the rate offering type to "Sell", 'Bulk plan-Sell' failed - Any explanations?

I have a very different experience. I have separate Rates and itinerary for both buy and sell perspectives. BUlk sell planning the orders yield separate shipments, while using the multistop option under create sell shipment actions, i get a single shipment.
I wonder, what is happening at your end?

my setup are with new set for all Sell related rates and itinerary.
I have make my rate cost simple, by per Shipment Cost, I still get 2 Shipment from Origin to A and Origin to B when i do Bulk Plan. With the planning parameter that I set previously... i.e. ORder Bundling rule.
If I manually plan using Multi-stop option under Action button, it failed to pair the shipments... my total travelled distance is 1.5km only.
I realise your planning is from 1 OB with 2 Order Line, therefore 2 Order Releases. Mine is 2 OB, 1 Ship Unit per OB.

I just realized that your two Order Releases are belonging to single Order Base, which is not the same scenario we have.
Were you able to build a multistop sell shipment with multiple Order Releases from different Order Bases?
Order Development had created a bug 7575892 - UNABLE TO CREATE MULTI STOP SELL SHIPMENT DUE TO BILL_TO COMPATIBILITY CHECK
But my feeling is the problem is more than that. |

Any thoughts on this....? | Hi Arun,
What version of OTM you are running?
We have the same problem in CU5 RU4 and RU5.
If you don't use Order Base, then you can refer to a workaround stated in Metalink Note 844197.1 Unable To Build A Sell Side Multistop Shipment
But if you use Order Base, then we need to wait for Oracle's reply. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
