Planning considering both Source and destination calendar

Hello

We have a requirement to do planning taking not only the source but also the destination calendar into consideration.

For Example, an order release is being planned from a location A that does all activities for 7 days in a week to a location B which performs all activities only on Monday and no activities the rest of the days. Now, we want the planning engine not to create a shipment whose delivery to B happens to be on Tuesday.

Does anybody know how to go about doing the same. Even after attaching different calendars at the source and destination Locations, the shipment is getting planned using only the source location.

Can we achieve this functionality using some planning parameter or changing some properties? Please suggest

Thanks & Regards

Re: Planning considering both Source and destination calendar

Hi
attach a calender to the destination location with receive as activity on monday and 'closed' as the activity on the remanining days. so whenever you create a shipment who's delivery is not on monday, the shipment creation would fail.

with regards
