Hi,

Has anybody designed rates in OTM that are applicable only on specific days of the week. Some of the carriers provide service to an area only on Mondays and Thursdays. On other days, they do not deliver. How to design this in OTM?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, depending upon your requirement you could use cyclical calendars (activity-activate) functionality for the same.

I tried that already. It does not work if I attach the cyclic calendar to Rate Record. If I use it in the conditions of the rate records, it does not work there too.

I do not want to use Calendars in Rate Service, because that will result in 50+ rate services and I have to maintain them separately in OTM and Oracle E-Business sweet because our OTM is integrated with EBS.

Can you please be more specific how and where you have used it. I am sorry, I should have provided these details before.

Why you are specific of cyclical calendar, why not annual ?. And I guess you attach in the Rate Record.

I intend to use cyclic because its just specific day of week that the delivery is allowed. If I use annual, I have to pick all Fridays for next 1 year to allow receive. Let me know if you know a better way.
