Same Location Address

Hi All,

We have 6 distincts locations having the same address and do not want extra charges when more that one is used in a multi stop shipments.

When we plan a multi stop shipment,OTM calculates a distinct stop for all those locations.what should we modify in the locations, in order to have the system(OTM)consider those all locations as one stop?

Hi Krishna,

My suggestion is to give a shot at the "Substitute Location" Feature for these 6 locations and observe the system behaviour.Since mutlistop scenario is source and destination based this may help..

Hi Krishna,

The 'Substitue Location' is used as a "Plan From/Plan To" location while a shipment is being planned out of an Order Release.Shipment planned by OTM in this case will be Planned from/to using the 'Substitue Location' rather than the actual source/destination location mentioned in the Order Release..
