Transit Public holidays

Hi,

I have a requirement from a customer which I really can;t figure out how to do it the best. So I want to know whether someone has dealt with this before.

The transit time of a carrier will have to consider public holidays "on the route". E.g. Going from Spain to Germany, you have to travel through France. France has a public holiday so it will take a day longer. Where and how to configre this?

I came up with these facts:

- Calendars can be assigned to a location. This is however not possible to use because the pickup and delivery locations are not situated in France.
- The calendars of the interim locations on a Itinerary leg are not considered, so this option also is removed.
- A calendar can be assigned to an itinerary, but is only meant for activating or de-activating the itinerary.
- A calendar can be assigned to a rate service (only in dayduration). This can be a solution if you don't have to many carrier/lane combinations, which is not the case. This will be unmaintanable besides the fact that I think of using ground schedules, where the calendar doesn't work.

Did I overlook an option here?
