Loading Meters

Hi All,

Did anybody implemented - calculation of rates based on loading meters and weight ? If so could you please help me out with this.

I beleive OTM has the capability to do so as it is mentioned that - "
multiple cost drivers (per kg, per piece count, per mile, per loading meter) " in the below document.

http://www.oracle.com/industries/tra...n-brochure.pdf

Also is the calculation of the loading meters by the carriers is any of the motor standards ? or differs from carrier to carrier ?

Awaiting for your replies , Thankyou.

Regards,
Raghav

Re: Loading Meters

I noticed this thread was still unanswered.

A loading meter is actually a volumetric unit rather even though it looks like a length. For example, 13 loading meter would equal a full truck of 80 m3, so 1 loading meter equals about 6.15 m3. If you set up a new volume UOM called "LOADING METER" with the appropriate conversion in OTM, you could use this unit for orders and rates.
