Does anyone know if is possible to create a specific rate for an item, or crate a specific rate for by commodity and route?

Hi new_otm,

Usually there are more than one way to accomplish something in OTM but the answer to your question is yes. The first segment under the name Basis when you Add a Cost in the Rate Cost tab of a new Rate Record provides a wide range of options upon which the Rate Cost will be applied, some of those options relate to the Packaged Id or Commodity Code.

I ignore your specific requirements but if different items share the same lane you could either create a rate record per item or share the same rate record with multiple Rate Costs where the Basis segment limit them to a particular Item.
