Post Rating by Pallet Band Break Profile

Hi,

We need to setup a rate for carrier based on pallet counts which are designated under pallet count bands. How can we achieve this?
Eg.
#Pallets 1-10 : $10/pallet
#Pallets 11-20: $9/pallet

Regards,
Naveen

Re: Rating by Pallet Band Break Profile

On the Rate Costs tab of the Rate Record, configure the following:

1. If the Shipment Total Number of Ship Units <= to 10 (using Conditional Section of Rate Costs Tab)
then charge $10 per 1 Ship Unit
2. If the Shipment Total Number of Ship Units > 10 AND If the Shipment Total Number of Ship Units <= 20 (using Conditional Section of Rate Costs Tab)
then charge $9 per 1 Ship Unit

I've attached a screenshot for clarification.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Naveen,

You can achieve this by setting up the cost band in the Rate Record.

Use multi cost rule as ADD and then create the 2 Rate costs :
1. Use rate cost basis(basis for the conditional rule from the basis drop-down list) as Source SELECT Total of Ship Units between 1-10 and define Rate Cost as $10 per Ship Unit.

Click on Save. Now Add a new cost

2. Use rate cost basis(basis for the conditional rule from the basis drop-down list) as Source SELECT Total of Ship Units between 11-20and define Rate Cost as $9 per Ship Unit.

Now, Define Pallet as your Ship Unit.
When you plan your Order Release with Ship Unit count as anything between 1-10 first rate will apply and for Ship Unit Count between 11-20 second rate will apply.

Let me know if this satisfies your query.

Regards,
Divya
