Can someone please explain to me the functionality of this planning parameter - Allocation Rounding Adjustment Threshold Planning Parameter?

When manually correcting certain buy side shipments, OTM is throwing an exception when trying to allocate cost:

2009-04-17 09:00:59.214 725882 Error Exception Cannot allocate - adjustment amount is greater than 1.0 - Shipment: KING.513823030 Invoice: {invoiceGid=null}
If this rounding adjustment is not too large, please adjust the ALLOCATION ROUNDING ADJUSTMENT THRESHOLD planning parameter. (invoiceGid=null, shipmentGid=KING.513823030, threshold=1.0)

We updated the Allocation Rounding Adjustment Threshold Planning Param in our test environment and was able to allocate the costs for this shipment. We first tried changing it to 2.0 and it didn’t work. We then modified it to 10.0 and it worked.

Can someone help us understand what the functionality of this parameter is and if modifying it higher might cause any issues?

Hi Chris

Default value for this parameter is 100. So There will not be any issues if you modify to higher value.
