Ensuring processing of Shipment Events in a fixed time-frame

Hi,

I have a requirement to ensure that all the shipment status updates that are coming in via Shipment Status Interface from various customers should get processed and should be reflected in OTM no later than 2 hours from the time the interface transmission cames in.

And on the other hand, OTM should also Interface Milestone data to an external system within two hours of receipt of milestone data from carrier.

I am trying to accomplish this by creating an Automation Agent of type Transmission, which will listen to the event Transmission - Staged event and then take action of Schedule Event of Run_Agent_Transmission every 2 hours. Will this work to achieve above mentioned requirement?

Any other better solution? Help in this regard is appreciated.

Regards,
-Salil
