Re: Error

Hello!

The error appears to say that a data element (appAction) is missing while trying to kick off a ShipmentActionTopic; though, this error doesn't give much information to go by.

Can you upload some additional information, to give context for the error?
  1. Steps that lead up to the error
  2. A Full stack trace (if available) - Should be displayed in the UI
  3. A portion of you glog.exception.log file, covering the timeframe just before and just after the error.
Thanks!

Re: Error

hello chris,
I created a new action
Configuration and administration-->user COnfiguration --> new in that i selected a label
and the Action definition ID as "RUN_AGENT_BUY_SHIPMENT" and i have given that agent Id as user defined agent which will change the status to user defined status when the status is "shipment-Tender-secured" and in that screen i selected the eventId as "Shipment-status changed"
added this action to a screen set and screen set to user and when i am trying to click the action in the buyshipment i got this error.

Re: Error

Hello soujanya,

I appreciate the description of events. In order to truly get to the bottom of this issue, could you post the full stack trace that is displayed in the UI and a portion of the glog.exception.log file that covers the time-frame when you ran this process? These will give the low-level details in order to find out why it's failing.

Thanks!

Question Re: Error

hi Chris,
This is hter Error what i got.I think all the problem lies in the "Event ID" option in the Action Manager screen. i select some other Event ID like "SHIPMENT - EDITED"
It is not giving the error and the agent is getting activited.I am not getting what event to take in that screen. The error i got is:

Re: Error

Hello soujanya,

I have to admit that this one is beyond me, unless it is related to the CU2 bug that leo_glog mentioned (http://www.otmfaq.com/forums/f18/act...r-231/#post568 (Action Manager-Error)).

Have you opened an SR on this issue and if so, what feedback did Oracle give? Hopefully this will help future users and build up our knowledge base.

Thanks!
