Hi All,

How can I create new shipment events in OTM. I have created a set of STATUS CODES, REASON CODES & attached to a EVENT GROUP. The created event groups are not getting displayed in shipment event entry screen?

can anyone help me on this? please.

If you are using 5.0 or above, you will need to set up a responsible party and assign the status group profile you have created to that. If you have not created a status group profile, that is just a collection of the status groups you have created.

Once you have set up your responsible party, you will need to create a responsible party profile and assign your responsible party to that.

Finally, assign that responsible party profile to the Audit Action of SHIPMENT EVENT. The status groups and reason groups that display in the shipment event entry screen are determined by the responsible party that you select in that same screen.

Re-post your configuration if you are still experiencing problems.

Thank you bmj_23, your guidance was excellent. I was successful in creating uer defined events, as you have mentioned I was bit confused with the new hierarchy definitions in 5.0 & above.
