| Trying to create a BNG Rule for Secondary Charge
I’m trying to generate a business number when I create a secondary charge shipment based on the perspective of the primary shipment. So, let’s say I have a shipment with a perspective (B)uy. When I create a secondary charge shipment, I’d like to have a business number rule that prefixes my generated number with the perspective value. For example. B00001.
I've created a new business number rule and a business number type that uses the SHIPMENT_CONTEXT. It works how I want it to when I do the “test BN” action, but not when I test it in a live scenario.
Question 1: Is this even possible?
Question 2: If so, how do I configure it? |
