Defaulting Responsible Party value during screen load

Hi All,

We would like to default a domain defined value in "Add Shipment Event" form in "responsible party field" for Buy Shipment.

By default it shows value "Carrier" in responsible party field which is hardcoded by Oracle. On Screen load it is showing "Carrier", when we click on dropdown in responsible party field it shows the domain defined value.

We want our domian defined values to be dafaulted during screen load.If any body have tried before please help us in doing this.

Thanks in advance for valuable feedback on this.

Re: Defaulting Responsible Party value during screen load

Hi,

The responsible party profiles shown in the shipment events screen can be configured via Business Process Automation - Power Data - Event Management - Audit Actions.

Search for event SHIPMENT EVENT and edit the record. In the section Responsible Party Profiles you can exclude the PUBLIC.CARRIER by setting the exclude tick(as DBA.ADMIN) and the responsible party profiles you have configured yourself you can add here (no DBA.ADMIN required). Restart the system and then only the RPP's added will be shown.

If you have multiple Responsible Party Profiles and you want to restrict users seeing all of them, you can limit the list of RPP's displayed by using VPD's.

Cheers,
