Populating fields

Hi,

I am able to get the invoice screen when we click shipment action,by using the REDIRECT_INVOICE, option which is available in the action manager screen, now i want some fields of the shipment should populate in the invoice screen once we click shipment action.

Kindly share the solution.

Thanks in advance,
Kumar

Re: Populating fields

Kumar,
My understanding is that u need to add few fields in the invoice screen that shows some neede details of the shipment.

Trace out XSL (JSP) page related with the web page and also the generated XML. If xml contains the details you required then, add 'template' in XSL (JSP).
Job is done.

If xml does not have those details, then u cannot add fields in your invoice screen. You can raise SR with oracle to find out if its possible to generate xml with you required fields.

Thanks,
-neoandr

Re: Populating fields

Kumar,

I have approached this issue from a different angle. I have created a REFNUM on the Invoice, which I display in the Screen Set. I use an agent to populate it with details of the Shipment, EG, Rate, Equipment, that sort of stuff.

Regards,
