I created a manager layout in 5.0 and attached that manager layout to a screenset and attached that screenset to a menu. When I click on that menu, i get the search and results. But when I click on 'new', I get the original manager layout (the layout from which I copied). I dont get the modified layout which I attached.

Rajashree - I know you were not trying to cause offence but please avoid using the words EXTREMELY IMPORTANT in capitals to try to emphasise how important your problem is solve to you.

Everyone here is contributing to the community "for free" - it is not a support help line where the "experts" with more experience are likely to help the consultants with less experience because the post contains the statement "EXTREMELY IMPORTANT" at the end of it.

If you post a reasonable question in a polite manner the chances are that someone will take a moment of their own time to help you.
