Hi,

We have a very specific need to remove the ACTIONS button in the Buy shipment screen only. We cant seem to find a solution that will remove the button only on that screen.

Wondering if someone has a solution.

Not sure which version you are using but in 5.5 just remove all the actions from the actions tab.

Sorry for the confusion...

This is the navigation: Transportation Planning -> Shipment Management -> Buy Shipment.
At the bottom I get a couple of buttons including two ACTIONS button; we need to remove both of them.

After I search for a shipment, there is also an ACTIONS button on the top menu, but I dont want that to go away.

I am on 5.5.

Hi Gary,

Not sure how I do that. That would probably be ideal if we could take out specific actions from the actions menu. But the users wants us to take out the ACTIONS button altogether on that screen, since we dont know how to take out specific actions.

I guess either solution would work. BTW, I am on v5.5.

The Actions buttons on the Search screen and results screen are one and the same.
If you have one you have to have the other.

If you want to remove specific actions, edit the screenset
Configutation and Administration -> User Configuration -> Screen Set Manager..

If its still the PUBLIC screenset you'll have to either copy it and use the copy, or edit the PUBLIC one by logging on as DBA.ADMIN (though this is not recomended).

When you edit the screenset - you will see a tab for Actions - go there and remove any you do not want.

Hi Gary,

That was very helpful! We did not know that you can edit the contents of the ACTIONS tab so easily. We already had a public screen -set created, so we just modified that.

Unfortunately, we only want one to remove/edit the Actions content on the Search page and editing the screen-set removes it on the Results page as well.

Is there anyway we could just remove it from the Search page but not the Results page?

I also agree with Gary - remove all/specific actions from the actions tab.

Hi,

Is there any way to delete multiple actions from Action Tab in Screen Set Manager in 1 go instead of deleting each one of them individually? I know that you can delete the grouped actions in 1 go by deleting the group name but need to do the acitivity for multiple actions at same level.

Hi Nipun,

I only want to remove specific Actions in the Buy Shipment Search Screen and not the Results screen. Removing specific Actions, like you and Gary suggested, takes it out on both screens.

Is there any way to remove the Actions button (or specific actions) ONLY on the Buy Shipment Search screen?
