How to change the tab label and how to delete the tab in the contacts (This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Communication Management > Contacts>New).

I want to change the tab label in contacts from contact to customer and I want to delete the notification tab.

I didn't get your first question : How to change the Tab level ...

but for your second question, you will have to remove the tab from the PersonContactNav.xsl( not sure about other version,but in 55 this is the xsl) and make the total steps to 1. Also from the PersonContactManager.xsl remove the step button.
If you have only one tab, then we don't need a nav file at all.

Ooops missed it, you can change the label also in the PersonContactNav.xsl , search for 'label.Contact' and you will find it
