Archive Schema is not populated during Purging

Hi,

We ran the standard(described in Admin Guide) purging process using pkg_purge.install. The Shipment table has less number of rows after purging.

However, the purging process is not archiving the information in the Archive Schema.

Is there anything that we need to do, in order to enable the archiving of the data in the ARCHIVE SCHEMA?

Thanks,
Prasad.

Re: Archive Schema is not populated during Purging

Hello,

I have checked with our DB guys and they have advised the following:

"Please check for the value of “pkg_purge.is_batch_job”, if it is set to FALSE then the process does not insert into the archive table, otherwise it does. This check is kept inside the trigger for each table. "

Hope this helps.

Regards,

James,

We implemented your suggestion and we can see the data in the archive schema.

Thank You.
