Fusion Transportation Intelligence

Hi,

We have just installed fresh OTM 5.5 on windows 2003 server with 4 GB RAM memory.Currently OTM is installed along with Web server (TOmcat and appache) and application server (weblogic) on the same server.

Next we need to install Fusion transportation intelligence (FTI) ,can FTI be install on the same the server and Is Report & form server is mandantory requirement for installing FTI application ,otherwise FTI can be installed independtly without form and report server

can someone suggest what would be system requirement and infrastructure for installing FTI Application.

Re: Fusion Transportation Intelligence

Surender,

The amount of memory that you have for both web and app is barely enough for that. Tomcat is set to 1024 but will grow to about 1.2 and Weblogic will be set to 1.5 and will grow to 1.8. So you are looking at 3GB just for those two processes. 1GB is left for the OS which isn't much, but you can get away with it on a test server.

As far as OTI goes, you don't need to install it on the same server as OTM or Forms and reports, but it OTM will need to have access to that server. I suggest following the admin guide as best as you can. I found a lot missing from it, as well as a bug in the database script so be prepared to contact Oracle support.

Nick
