Fusion Transportation Intelligence

Hi Chris,

Followed Admin guide to enable FTI with OTM.

Steps done to enable Fusion Transportation Intelligence on OTM.

OTM CU5.5.03 is the version on which I have enabled FTI.
1)Installed OBIEE 10.1.3.2.1
2)Operational Database:
Log on to the database as glogowner. Run the following script from the
<otm_install_path>/glog/oracle/script8/advanced_analytics directory.
load_status_script.sql
This script loads the new READY_TO_LOAD status to all shipments, order bases, and order releases in
OTM. This may take time depending on how many business objects are in the database. This also
loads the status of NOT_READY_TO_LOAD for these objects.

3)Created DSN named rptapp under ODBC connection.

4)## Fusion Transportation Intelligence (formerly Advanced Analytics) - optional
aa_webserver=hschbscgn25037.hclt-guindy.co.in:7787
ALLOW_ADVANCED_ANALYTICS=true

---> I feel something is missing on the OTM side as OTM FTI page still shows following errors....

Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 17001] Oracle Error code: 942, message: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist at OCI call OCIStmtExecute. [nQSError: 17010] SQL statement preparation

Please assist us on this. Attached Screen Shot for your reference.

Regards
Sandeep

Re: Fusion Transportation Intelligence

Sandeep,

Nick may be better able to assist you with the specific SQL error, though it sounds like the FTI schema is not getting created correctly. While setting this up we ran into many issues and undocumented steps that Nick was able to resolve by reverse-engineering the configuration.

The one tip I can give you is to ensure that you're starting with either OTM v5.5 CU04 RU01 or CU05, as there are known issues with the previous versions of OTM.

Re: Fusion Transportation Intelligence

You are probably missing the tables that are in this script.

From the [OBI EE]/Oracle BI/server/Schema directory login to the database as hdowner/hdowner@rptapp
Run the @SAJOBS.Oracle.sql and then exit sqlplus

This isn't in the admin guide but needs to be executed.
