Re: External Distance Engine

Hi Anitha,

I do not think that the Distance Engines that OTM can be linked to can provide exact values within the same Zip Code.

The only option I could think of is creating a "Rate Distance" and entering the "Distance" for every address to address "Lane" which may only be feasible for a low number of locations. You may need to have 2 rate offerings, one for all the other lanes and one for the lanes within the same zip code. Can you tell us more about your business requirements?

Hope this helps

Re: External Distance Engine

We had a similar problem with only a couple of lanes and we had to manually insert a distance in the distance table for those lanes. The x lanes were setup as location to location.
