Need to turn off PASV ftp

Does anyone know how to turn off PASV mode on outbound ftp? The external_system table has a column called connection_mode with a default value of PASV but I don't see a way to toggle it in the GUI nor do I know what the other valid values for this column are so that I might disable it via an update statement.

Thanks,
Alan

Re: Need to turn off PASV ftp

Alan,

Did you ever get a solution for this one, either from Oracle Support or somewhere else?

I know that OTM uses the finj FTPClient library, but I don't know if it provides a way to modify the parameters which are passed to it. Searching through the OTM property files, I wasn't able to find a solution.

API info for finj is available here: finj: FTP Client for Java Apps 1.1.1 API

Alan,

Just realized that on OTM v5.5 CU3 and later (possibly earlier, but I don't have a system to verify on), that you can select the FTP mode (active or passive) within the External System definition.

You may have already figured this out, but I hope it helps.
