Dear All:

In an integration scenario, I am posting a RELEASE INSTRUCTION as well as ActualShipmentXML to create SAW. I have also configured agents to link SAW with Order Release at the event of Release - Creation.

Can I post these two instructions in a single XML? Imagine a scenario where-in i am posting 1500 RI and 1500 SAW in a single XML, Will my LINKING Agent fail for the fact that Release are not yet created, but SAW are created, since the integration is happening in a multi-threaded fashion.

How can i instruct OTM to perform tasks in a sequence manner ?

1. Should i Split RI and SAW into 2 different XMLs ?
2. Should I offer a sleep-time interval between posting RI & SAW ?

Kindly offer your suggestions.

Have you attempted to use 1 XML to pass both the SAW and the OR at the same time (Release nested in the SAW)? This way when you pass the SAW it automatically inserts the Release into the DB and the linkage is created for you.
